Santal Studies Niea

Ek Civilizational Jnan Platform

Santal Studies is an open, structured knowledge platform dedicated to the civilization, culture, history, and oral traditions of the Santal people — one of the largest Adivasi nations of South Asia, with a population of approximately 8 million spanning Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Assam, and Bangladesh.

Our Mission

To build a permanent, academically rigorous, multilingual knowledge archive of Santal civilization that remains freely accessible, structurally stable, and continuously growing — built to last for centuries.

Methodology

Every entry carries a permanent Public ID, is peer-reviewed before publication, exists in up to three languages (English, Hindi, Santali), and is linked to a structured network of citations, related entries, and source materials.

Contributing

Scholars, researchers, community members, and students are welcome to contribute. Contact us to discuss contributor access, submission guidelines, and editorial standards.
